Aluminium Zirconium Master Alloy

Aluminum Zirconium Master Alloy is used as additive of Zirconium in Aluminium as grain refiners, modifiers, or hardeners based on their application. They are suitable for structure control and adjusting the composition of a liquid metal in order to obtain the required chemical specification. They are used instead of pure metal because they are very economical and save production time and energy. They can be formed in various shapes.

The datasheet given below will discuss about aluminium/aluminum zirconium master alloy.Chemical Composition

The chemical composition of aluminium/aluminum zirconium master alloy is outlined in the following table.

Element Content (%)
Zirconium, Zr 5 -15
Iron, Fe 0.25 max
others 0.5 max
Aluminum, Al Remainder
